CHILDREN’S CHOIRS

Ages 3 through grade 5

Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. (Preschool); Sunday, 6:00 (Children)

Preschoolers and children learn spiritual truths through activities and exciting music.  Children are instructed at their level of understanding and skill.  Along with weekly rehearsals, these choirs sing in the Annual Christmas Concert, Worship Services and present a musical in the spring.

CELEBRATION CHOIR

10th grade and adult

Wednesday, 7:35 p.m. — Choir Room

The Celebration Choir rehearses every Wednesday and leads the congregation during the  AM/PM worship services. Highlights of the year include an Annual Summer Retreat, Fall Worship Concert, Christmas Concert, Easter Pageant and Patriotic Concert.

PRIME TIMERS CHOIR

Senior Adults

Thursday, 10:00 a.m.  — Room 118

Senior adults meet every Thursday for rehearsal and fellowship.  Along with their regular appearance in the PM worship service, the Prime Timers present a       Christmas and Spring concert annually and sing at area nursing homes.

HANDBELLS CHOIRS

Offered seasonally during the fall months, three choirs rehearse weekly to provide ministry in worship and the holiday season.

EASTER MUSIC/DRAMA PRESENTATIONS

Easter provides the opportunity for the Music and Drama Ministry of Highlawn Baptist Church to present the message  of  salvation through the sharing of the     greatest story ever told!

PATRIOTIC CONCERT —– July

Strike up the band!  This exciting and fun filled event is a favorite for all ages.  The Celebration Choir come alive as they sing the song of freedom for our nation and freedom in Christ.
