We provide many opportunities for your child to  Love  God. Sunday Mornings during the church services, your child is invited to join the congregation of Highlawn Baptist Church to worship God  through song and offering.  At the conclusion of the music portion of our worship services, we provide a Children’s Church service where the Bible comes to life through hands-on illustrations, media, and drama.

Highlawn Baptist Church is approaches Children’s Small Group Bible Study differently by employing the use of media into our weekly meetings.  We use a variety of tools to grab the children’s attention and make Bible study alive and exciting.  We encourage our children to be accountable in sharing the gospel of Jesus as they grow in a deeper understanding of their Savior.  Sunday mornings at 9:45 we have an hour punched with music, Bible study, and hands-on activities.On Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. we offer a discipleship program that is high octane, exciting, and on the edge called Elevate.  Each 8 weeks uses a different theme to teach the great foundations of the life of a Christian.

Matthew 28:19 says, “Go into all the world and teach the Gospel.”  We teach our children about the world we live in and the need for the message of Salvation to be shared with every person. We offer Missions education through Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action on Sunday evenings at 6pm and we also provide opportunities for children to be involved in “doing missions.” At different times of the year, they have opportunities to participate in various programs to help our community, our state, our nation, and our world.  We learn about missionaries, the sacrifices they are making and the work they are doing in different parts of the world.
